In 1975, Ferrari introduced a Formula One car design based on the 312B from 1974. The 312T design was used in Formula One racing in various forms until 1980. Designed by Mauro Forghieri, the uncomplicated design lent itself well to mechanical upgrades. During the 312T's career, the series won 27 races, four contractor's and three driver's championships before being replaced by the Ferrari’s first turbo-charged F1 car, the 126C in 1981. Hasegawa's updated model of this historic car includes 199 original and new parts, including front and rear wing and cockpit front roll bar.
Decals are included to model one of two cars.
