Hornby R3301 BR 4-6-0 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe 4073 Castle Class c2014The Castle class locomotive was designed and built in the early 1920's by C.B Collett. They were manufactured in Swindon Works and between 1923 and 1950 there were over 165 of these locomotives built in Swindon. These locomotives were designed to be used on the busy mainline on the GWR and had the ability of maintaining a high top speed and still be economical to run. The "Castles" soon earned a reputation for excellence and reliability and became one of the flagship locomotives for the GWR. Features:- Length: 265mm
