New Arrivals :
CORGI
We received 8 new items from Corgi this week including the Garda Avenger based in Mallow and the Heavy Haulage Malcolm low loader with the old JCB, The vast majority of the other items were in the Aviation Archive range. These are all on the website and in stock in Greenogue, Hawkins St and Cork now.
HORNBY
Just a few items received here, mostly Skaledale items that were out of stock for awhile.
AIRFIX
A few new kits or re-releases, namely the DUKW in 1/76 scale and some 1/32 scale 8th army and British Paras. these are on the website and in most of the branches now.
BASE TOYS
We have just received some Base Toys 1/76 vintage trucks suitable for Model Railways. These had originaly been priced at euro 8.99 but we now have them at a special of only 3.99. These are on the web and available in Hawkins St and greenogue due to the limited qtys. available. We have put a new category of road vehicles onto the website within the railway section and will be adding both Northcord and UK Bus models at special prices to this section over the coming week or so. (keep an eye on it)
BACHMANN
Afew new items received from this manufacturer which have been put on the website and are instock in most of the branches.
RADIO CONTROL
Marks Models now have a dedicated Radio Control shop within the Greenogue premises which is run by Graham Lenehan. All the items in the Radio Control section of the website are stocked in Greenogue but only a small selection is held in the rest of the branches. Brands stocked include Tamiya, Cen and Team Asociated on the car front plus a range of Electric flight and IC aeroplanes and electric Helicopters. We have a full repair service for all models stocked.
SHOWS / EVENTS
The remainder of this month sees us attending the Classic Car show/sale at the National Show Centre in Swords and then we move indoors for the South Dublin Model Railway Clubs exhibition in St. Benildus School in Stillorgan on the 24/25/26 October see yhe events section of marksmodels.com for further details. We intend to have some very special offers for this show so don't miss out.
