Welcome to the latest version of the Marks Model E-News. It has been over a month since the last one and I must apologise for this but in spite of the recession we have actually been quite busy here, with trips to Hornby in the UK for this years product previews much of which is now on the website under sub headings for 2010 new items in each brand category. This was followed by three agricultural shows in Cork, Omagh and Cavan followed by our annual trip to the Nurnberg Toy Fair in Germany. That’s enough excuses now into what’s new and what we expect over the next 10 days. Marks Models are now offering a model weathering service due to customer requests, please contact us for further details. Hornby International: We have recently been appointed agents for the Lima, Jouef, Rivarrossi, Electrotren and Arnold ranges. We have put some of the items we are carrying on the website under the Hornby section and they are in stock in Hawkins st. Due to the size and nature of these ranges we will not be carrying the entire range, but we can get anything for you and will check price and availability when ever you want. Marks Models now have access to the Hornby computer system with regard to Stock availability etc., we can now check availability and updates on release information for you at any time just give us a call on 01 4124829 if you need any help. Recent additions to the website : ROS : Models of tractors , plant, cranes etc in 1/32 ,1/50 and 1/87 scales. These are high quality collectors items, which we are stocking in Greenogue and are available to purchase online or we can arrange to bring them to any of our branches for you. DELUXE MATERIALS : This range of Model and Hobby glues are now in stock and available to purchase online. MAMOD: We have recently added Mamod steam models to our website, The items listed are in stock in Hawkins St. and Greenogue, any other items from this range are available to order, please contact us for price and availability. IRISH BUSES : Recently received is the Northcord Bus Eireann Enviro 200, and we have also listed a no. of forthcoming releases with illustrations which are available to pre-order, check out the Irish Bus section of the website for further details. Recent Deliveries : Airfix , Large restock here, reasonably good stock at the moment. Revell, Large restock plus approx 10 new items which are in stock Hawkins and Greenogue, Dunlaoire Monday and Cork by the end of next week, they will also be on the website by Sunday. Humbrol, delivery of tinlets and sprays received last week. Corgi, another load of new releases plus a no. of very special offers in the Heavy Haulage and Aviation Archive ranges many of these at half price or less. These are all items produced by the original Corgi Company and have not been on special before. These Specials are in all the shops now and on the website. Bachmann, some new items including cl08 in blue weathered and 4 car emu’s in blue grey and green, also some cement wagons and some BR black pannier tank locos. Peco, Trackwork, point motors etc. Metcalfe card building kits which we are now stocking in all the branches and will be on the website by early next week. Corgi, Vanguards, more new items due next week. Dapol, full range of kits due in towards the end of next week. Noch, Large delivery due in from this company in about 10 days including figures scenic accessories, ballast and underlay and baseboards Model Craft, Restock plus some new items from this company arriving towards the end of next week.
